Strategic Sourcing & New Business Manager – Electrical Transformer Components

About the Role

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and commercially strong skilled to help us expand our portfolio of products supplied to the electrical transformer industry.

This is not a routine purchase role . The person will identify recent product opportunities, find and develop manufacturers, negotiate strategic partnerships and take new products from identification to commercial launch.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify recent electrical and transformer-component product opportunities.
- Find and evaluate suitable manufacturers and suppliers across India and overseas.
- Visit and assess potential manufacturing partners.
- Negotiate pricing, margins, credit, MOQ, exclusivity and distribution arrangements.
- Explore private-label, OEM and exclusive distribution opportunities .
- Coordinate samples, technical evaluation and product approvals.
- Work with the sales team to understand customer requirements and market gaps.
- Take responsibility for moving products from idea → supplier → evaluation → commercial launch .
- Develop alternate suppliers and monitor supplier performance.





Who Are We Looking For? Someone with 5–10 years of experience in areas such as:

Electrical components | Transformer accessories | Transformer raw materials | Industrial electrical products | Strategic sourcing | Supplier development

Candidates having existing relationships with electrical/transformer manufacturers will have an advantage.

Preferred qualification: B.E./B.Tech – Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics, although strong relevant industry experience will be given greater importance.
