Role Overview

This role involves identifying the potential strategic collaborations to build lasting relationships across Government, CSR, Foundations , Research Institutions, and the Development Sector. This is not a conventional business development role. It is an opportunity to shape how governments, donors, foundations, corporates , and research institutions work together to solve complex development challenges.

Walkin interviews are open from 10th Aug onwards between 9:30am to 11am at our Gurgaon office

Key Areas

Strategic Partnership & Business Growth

- Identify, develop, and secure strategic partnerships with government agencies, donor organizations , multilateral institutions, CSR foundations , academic institutions, and private sector organizations
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of partnership opportunities from outreach through successful closure
- Lead partnership discussions, negotiations , and long-term relationship management.
- Lead RFPs, EOIs, grant applications , and proposal development in collaboration with technical teams
- Represent Outline India in high-level meetings, conferences, policy forums , and industry events
- Identify emerging opportunities across research, governance, climate, health, livelihoods , education




- Support revenue generation through strategic collaborations and long-term institutional partnerships

Stakeholder Engagement

- Build trusted relationships with senior government officials, donor representatives , CSR leaders, think tanks , research organizations, and ecosystem partners
- Position Outline India as a preferred research and implementation partner through strategic engagement and thought leadership
- Translate organizational capabilities into compelling partnership narratives and value propositions

What we're looking

- 6–10+ years of experience in Strategic Partnerships, Donor Relation s, Institutional Business Development
- Exceptional communication, presentation, networking , and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in research, monitoring & evaluation , consulting, public policy , or social impact is highly desirable
- Work directly with leadership on high-growth strategic initiatives
- Knowledge of Canva, Mailchimp, pitch deck , social media handles is preferred
