S K Solvochem is a solvent manufacturing unit engaged in the production and processing of industrial solvents and chemicals. We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Store Keeper to manage our raw material, packaging, and finished goods stores.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate inward and outward records of raw materials (solvents, chemicals, drums, packaging material) and finished goods

- Ensure proper stacking, labelling, and storage of chemicals/solvents as per safety norms (segregation of flammable/hazardous materials)

- Maintain stock registers, bin cards, and inventory records (manual and/or ERP/software-based)

- Coordinate with Purchase and Production departments for material requirement, indenting, and timely replenishment

- Conduct physical stock verification and reconcile with book stock periodically

- Issue materials to production against proper requisition/authorization

- Check incoming materials against purchase order, invoice, and quality/quantity before accepting into store

- Maintain MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets)



and ensure secure handling/storage practices for hazardous chemicals

- Monitor drum/container conditions, expiry, and FIFO (First-In-First-Out) rotation of stock

- Ensure housekeeping and safety compliance within the store area

- Prepare periodic stock reports (raw material, WIP, finished goods) for management

Requirements

- Graduate / Diploma; prior experience in store/warehouse management in a Chemical, Pharma, or Process Industry preferred

- 2–5 years of relevant experience in store keeping/inventory management

- Working knowledge of Stock/Inventory software (Tally/ERP/Excel)

- Basic understanding of Hazardous Chemical Storage and Handling Norms

- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in record-keeping

- Ability to work in a plant environment and coordinate with multiple departments
