Job Summary The Store Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day store operations, including the receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of raw materials, structural steel, consumables, spare parts, and finished goods. The role ensures timely material availability for production, maintains accurate inventory records, and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming materials against Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Challans (DC), and invoices.
- Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Issue Slips (MIS), and maintain all store-related documentation.
- Store, identify, and label materials systematically to ensure easy accessibility and proper inventory control.
- Issue materials to the Production and Maintenance departments as per approved material requisitions.
- Maintain inventory records and update stock transactions in ERP/SAP systems.
- Monitor minimum, maximum, and reorder stock levels to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Conduct daily, monthly, and annual physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Production, Quality Control, and Accounts departments for smooth material flow.
- Maintain inventory of structural steel, PEB accessories, roofing and cladding materials, consumables, and spare parts.
- Monitor and maintain scrap inventory records and ensure proper disposal procedures.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and MIS reports.
- Ensure proper housekeeping (5S) and maintain safety standards within the store area.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate documentation and records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, inventory procedures, and statutory requirements.

Qualification
- Graduate (B.Com./B.Sc./B.A.) or Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
- Certification in Material Management or Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in Store and Inventory Management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a PEB, Structural Steel, Fabrication, or Manufacturing Plant is mandatory.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Maintain inventory accuracy above 98% .
- Timely preparation of GRNs and material issuance.
- Zero production delays due to material shortages.
- Accurate stock reconciliation with minimal inventory variance.
- Compliance with safety standards, audit requirements, and 5S practices.
Working Hours 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM
