As we expand our physical presence across India, we are looking for an entrepreneurial leader to establish and scale our business across Tamil Nadu.

Role Overview The State Head – Tamil Nadu will be responsible for building and scaling Pocketful's retail broking business across the state. The role will involve branch expansion, channel partnerships, retail client acquisition, team building, business development, marketing initiatives, and strengthening Pocketful's presence across Tamil Nadu.

This is a leadership role with complete ownership of state-level business expansion and P&L.;

Key Responsibilities Business Expansion

- Develop and execute Pocketful's Tamil Nadu expansion strategy.
- Identify high-potential cities for branch expansion.
- Establish and scale company-owned and franchise/partner branches.
- Drive sustainable client acquisition and revenue growth.
- Build relationships with HNIs, traders, investors, IFAs, and local business communities.

Branch Development

- Set up and operationalize new branches.
- Recruit, train, and mentor Branch Heads and Relationship Managers.
- Ensure branches achieve revenue, client acquisition, and activation targets.
- Monitor branch profitability and productivity.

Sales & Distribution

- Drive retail broking business across Equity, F&O;, Commodity, Currency, MTF, and Mutual Funds.
- Expand the partner network through Authorized Persons, Sub Brokers, Referral Partners, Wealth Advisors, and Financial Consultants.
- Drive sales performance and market penetration across Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 cities.

Brand Building & Marketing

- Develop Pocketful's presence across Tamil Nadu.




- Plan and execute investor awareness seminars, trading workshops, college engagement programs, corporate tie-ups, and local marketing campaigns.
- Drive digital and offline promotional initiatives.
- Build relationships with business associations, chambers of commerce, and local communities.

Team Leadership

- Hire, develop, and lead high-performing sales teams.
- Define KPIs and monitor team performance.
- Foster a strong, performance-driven culture.

Business Development

- Build strategic relationships with corporates, institutions, and professional networks.
- Identify recent business opportunities and strategic alliances.
- Increase market penetration across Tamil Nadu.

Compliance & Operations

- Ensure adherence to SEBI, NSE, BSE, and internal compliance requirements.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and operational excellence.

Candidate Profile

- Minimum 10 years of experience in Retail Stock Broking, Wealth Management, or Capital Markets.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience managing multiple branches or regional operations.
- Proven experience in branch expansion, retail broking sales, team building, and business development.
- Strong network within the Tamil Nadu financial ecosystem.
- Deep understanding of local market dynamics.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build businesses from the ground up.
