- Prepare and maintain a sterile operating room workplace.
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by providing instruments, sutures, and supplies.
- Perform surgical scrub, gowning, and gloving procedures.
- Ensure availability and sterility of surgical instruments and equipment before surgery.
- Maintain accurate instrument, sponge, and needle counts before, during, and after procedures.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during operations.
- Handle surgical specimens according to hospital protocols.
- Follow infection control, aseptic techniques, and patient safety standards.
- Assist in positioning and preparing patients for surgery.
- Document intraoperative nursing activities and maintain OT records.
- Ensure proper cleaning, sterilization, and maintenance of OT instruments and equipment.
- Adhere to hospital policies, NABH standards,
and quality protocols.
Qualification: GNM/B.Sc. Nursing with a valid Kerala Nursing Council registration. Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of experience as an OT Scrub Nurse in a hospital setting preferred.
Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
