Role Description The Staff Nurse – ICU is a full-time, on-site role based at Batra Heart & Multispecialty Hospital in Faridabad. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, managing IV lines, and assisting with procedures under the supervision of intensivists and other physicians.

The Staff

Nurse will be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records, adhering to infection control and safety protocols, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely interventions and continuity of care.



Daily responsibilities include responding to emergencies, supporting families with clear communication, participating in shift handovers, and contributing to quality improvement activities within the ICU.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Nursing, with the ability to deliver evidence-based patient care and adhere to hospital protocols.
- Skills in Emergency Nursing, including rapid assessment, stabilization, and response to critical situations.
- Competence in Critical Care Nursing, with experience in managing ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and complex ICU cases.
- Understanding of Medicine and Critical Care Medicine principles to support clinical decision-making and collaborate effectively with physicians.
- Recognized nursing qualification (GNM/B.Sc Nursing or equivalent) and valid nursing registration with the relevant council.
- Previous experience in an ICU or high-dependency unit is highly preferred.
- Ability to work in rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, and perform effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic medical records and willingness to participate in ongoing training and skill development.
