Looking for a one-person crew who can shoot it, cut it, and use AI to make the parts that can't be shot.
Bangalore, Full-time, 5-10 years. Experience and Salary is flexible for the right person.
Not many people get to say their day job saves lives.
Cent Health is a new health tech startup. We catch life-threatening diseases before a single symptom shows up. We do full-body scans and have the best machines and protocols in all of India. The product is built. The goal now is to move India from reacting to disease to catching it first, and save lives.
We're creating a category that doesn't exist here yet, in one of the fastest-growing spaces in the world. In the last six months we have moved with break neck speed: centres in Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai, scaling to 20 by year-end, closing in on 10,000 scans soon. Joining the team means you will be early and actually building the brand rather than just maintaining or amplifying it.
We are looking for someone who can carry a piece of video from the idea to the export without a chain of vendors in between.Your role is a combination of a director, a shooter, an editor and someone who is genuinely good with the new tools.
This role would push your craft in a variety of ways: reels and short-form, patient stories, doctor and founder pieces, documentary-style films inside our centres, ads and performance cuts, explainers, and generated or AI-assisted work for everything we can't put a camera on.
Here's the real meaty part of the role: our best stories are true ones, and true ones are hard to tell well. A person who came in for a routine scan and walked out knowing something they'd have found out three years too late. That story can be told in a way that's honest and moving, or in a way that's exploitative and makes everyone wince. The difference is judgment, and there's no template for it.
You'd be the person in the room deciding how far to go.
The other half is what you can't shoot. You cannot put a camera inside an artery, and you cannot film four years of a tumour growing quietly. AI and generated footage are how we make that visible, and we want someone who is already deep in those tools and has taste about when not to use them.
We also need volume. A lot of video, shipped fast, and none of it looking cheap.
This is a hands-on, always-shipping, high-ownership role.
Interesting work only comes from interesting people, so we're hiring for it. The following things matter more than your education, the company you worked for or what's on your resume.
- You can actually do all of it. Frame it, light it well enough, get clean sound, and cut it into something with rhythm.
- Story sense first. You can find the moment in three hours of footage and build everything around it.
- Real fluency with AI video, image and audio tools, plus the judgment to know when the generated version is worse than the real one.
- High taste, judgment; someone who has a sharp point of view on things and can defend it.
- Deep feel for how content and new-age media actually work, and the pulse of aspirational and affluent India. You know why a cut works on a feed and dies on a TV.
- Right brain first, instinct and craft, but able to hold your own on strategy.
- Obsessed with the craft; smart, self-starting, doesn't wait for a brief.
- Solid proof of work: things you made that actually shipped, moved numbers, or got talked about.
The process (the bar is high) Fill out the application form, attach your reel and resume
Complete a short assignment that tests your creativity, taste and judgment (post the shortlist)
References from people who have worked with you before are a must (we will ask for this when you transparent the first or second interview round)
