e are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Plant In-Charge to oversee the complete manufacturing operations of our PVC processing plant. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Injection Moulding, PVC Extrusion, and Pelletizing processes with strong leadership capabilities to manage production, maintenance, quality, manpower, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The candidate should possess sound technical knowledge of moulds, tools, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD, enabling effective coordination for new product development, tooling modifications, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management

Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities.

Ensure production targets are achieved in terms of quantity, quality, and delivery.

Improve machine utilization and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

Monitor production efficiency and reduce cycle times.

Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and raw materials.

Process Management

Supervise

PVC Injection Moulding

PVC Extrusion

PVC Pelletizing

Optimize process parameters for improved productivity.

Reduce rejection, wastage, and rework.

Standardize manufacturing processes.

Maintenance

Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance.

Ensure maximum machine uptime.

Maintain maintenance schedules and machine history.

Coordinate with equipment suppliers for major repairs.

Tool Room & Mould Management

Maintain moulds and dies in excellent working condition.

Coordinate mould trials and modifications.

Ensure preventive maintenance of moulds.

Maintain tooling records.

Product Development

Coordinate new product development.

Review product drawings.





Suggest improvements for manufacturability.

Work closely with the design team during product development.

Engineering Design Support

Should possess working knowledge of:

SolidWorks

AutoCAD

Responsibilities include

Reading engineering drawings.

Basic 3D model understanding.

Reviewing mould drawings.

Supporting tooling development.

Coordinating design modifications.

Quality Management

Ensure adherence to quality standards.

Reduce customer complaints.

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Coordinate with the Quality department for process improvements.

Cost Control

Minimize production costs.

Reduce material wastage.

Improve energy efficiency.

Monitor consumable usage.

Implement cost-saving initiatives.

Team Management

Lead production supervisors and operators.

Develop employee skills through training.

Ensure discipline on the shop floor.

Conduct performance reviews.

Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Promote 5S and good housekeeping.

Maintain statutory compliance.

Ensure safe work practices across the plant.

Inventory Coordination

Coordinate with Stores and Purchase.

Monitor raw material availability.

Control WIP inventory.

Reduce inventory losses.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
