Role Description The Sr Merchandiser role is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida.

The Sr

Merchandiser will manage the end-to-end merchandising cycle, including product development, sampling, costing, and order execution for home textile and furnishing lines.

Responsibilities include coordinating with design, production, and quality teams, preparing and presenting product ranges to buyers, and ensuring timely communication and follow-ups with international and domestic clients. The role involves analyzing market trends, customer preferences, and sales performance to optimize assortments and pricing, while maintaining accurate documentation, reports, and merchandising calendars.

Merchandiser will also support strategic planning for new collections and contribute to continuous improvement in processes and customer experience.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Communication and Customer Service skills to manage buyer interactions, negotiations, and ongoing client relationships.
- Candidates should possess Sales and Retail skills to understand market dynamics, merchandising strategies, and product performance in various channels.
- Candidates should possess Marketing skills to collaborate on product positioning, collection launches, and promotional initiatives for home textiles.
- Candidates should have experience in merchandising or product management within textiles, apparel, or home furnishings, ideally at a senior or lead level.
- Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and use of basic office and merchandising tools (e.g., Excel, ERP or PLM systems).
- Candidates should have strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and capability to handle multiple orders and deadlines.
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Textiles, Fashion, Merchandising, Business, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
- Knowledge of export documentation, international buyer requirements, and production processes in home textiles is an added advantage.
