Role Objective

We are looking for an experienced Export Sales / International Business professional who can independently develop overseas markets, appoint distributors/importers, generate new business and drive profitable export sales growth.

The candidate should have a strong track record in business generation and market development, rather than primarily export documentation or coordination experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute export sales strategy for international markets.
- Identify and open new countries and markets for the company's products.
- Identify, appoint and manage overseas distributors, dealers and importers.
- Achieve annual export sales, profitability and collection targets.
- Generate new international customers and develop existing accounts.
- Prepare export pricing and negotiate margins, payment terms and commercial conditions.
- Conduct competitor, pricing and market-potential analysis.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from enquiry and negotiation to order closure and payment realization.
- Coordinate with production, logistics,



accounts and export documentation teams for timely execution of orders.
- Participate in international exhibitions, distributor meetings and overseas market visits.
- Prepare country-wise sales forecasts, business plans and management reports.

Candidate Profile

- 815 years of relevant experience in Export Sales / International Business.
- Preferred industry background: Home Appliances, Consumer Durables, HVAC, Refrigeration or Electrical Products.
- Proven track record of achieving export sales targets and generating current international business.
- Strong experience in appointing and developing overseas distributors/importers.
- Exposure to markets such as Middle East, Africa, SAARC and Southeast Asia preferred.
- Good understanding of FOB/CIF/CFR, Incoterms, LC, TT, export pricing and international payment terms.
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Willing to travel internationally.
- MBA/PGDM in Marketing or International Business preferred.
