Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HVAC Engineer to join our MEP Design team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and delivering HVAC systems for Commercial, Industrial projects while ensuring compliance with applicable standards, client requirements, and project timelines.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop HVAC systems for commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and data centers.
- Perform cooling and heating load calculations using industry-standard methodologies.
- Prepare HVAC design drawings, layouts, schematics, and technical specifications using AutoCAD.
- Develop ducting layouts, piping systems, equipment selection, and plant room designs.
- Prepare ventilation calculations and design solutions for specialized areas.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Structural, and Architectural disciplines.
- Review shop drawings, technical submittals, and vendor proposals.
- Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, NBC, IS Codes, SMACNA, and other relevant standards.
- Conduct design reviews and value engineering exercises to optimize project costs and performance.
- Participate in client meetings, design presentations, and technical discussions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
- Support project execution teams during construction and commissioning phases.
- Ensure project deliverables are completed within budget and schedule requirements.

Required Qualifications





- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in HVAC design within an MEP Consultancy setting.
- Proven experience in Commercial, Industrial, and Data Center projects.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems including: Chilled Water Systems VRF/VRV Systems Ventilation Systems Precision Air Conditioning Systems Data Center Cooling Solutions AHUs, FCUs, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Pumps, and Heat Exchangers

Technical Skills

- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of HVAC design calculations and equipment sizing.
- Familiarity with ASHRAE Standards, SMACNA Guidelines, NBC, and relevant Indian Codes.
- Understanding of data center cooling requirements and critical infrastructure design.
- Ability to prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and design reports.
- Experience in multidisciplinary coordination and project management.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in HVAC, MEP AUTOCAD will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
