Sr. Developer - Outsystem

Key Responsibilities

· Lead the design and development of complex OutSystems applications

· Architect scalable and maintainable solutions following OutSystems Architecture Canvas

· Mentor and guide junior developers in OutSystems best practices

· Conduct technical reviews and ensure code quality standards

· Collaborate with solution architects and technical leads on system design

· Optimize application performance and resolve complex technical issues

· Drive technical innovation and evaluate new OutSystems features

· Participate in pre-sales activities and solution design discussions

· Manage technical delivery within project timelines and quality standards

· Contribute to the development of reusable components and frameworks

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

· 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in OutSystems

· OutSystems Professional Developer certification (or higher)





· Solid expertise in OutSystems architecture patterns and best practices

· Proven experience in full-cycle application development

· Advanced knowledge of SQL, database design, and optimization

· Experience with API integration (REST, SOAP) and external system connectivity

· Strong understanding of security principles and data protection

· Experience leading development teams or mentoring developers

· Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities

· Strong communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders at all levels

Preferred Qualifications

· OutSystems Architecture Specialist or Expert certification

· Experience with OutSystems Reactive Web and Mobile applications

· Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

· Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar)

· Understanding of microservices architecture

· Experience across multiple industry sectors (Public Service, Financial Services, Healthcare, etc.)

· Agile/Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, or similar)
