About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Cloud / Platform --Engineer with 7-10 years of experience in building and scaling cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in AWS Administration, CICD Pipeline, Terraform, Monitoring tools like Promethius/Grafana, GitHub/Jenkins and DevOps practices, along with a solid understanding of distributed systems.

This role requires a product mindset someone who not only builds systems but also considers performance, scalability, reliability, cost optimization, and end-user impact.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect, design, and scale cloud-native systems on AWS
- Build scalable infrastructure with auto-scaling, high availability, and disaster recovery (DR) strategies
- Optimize application and infrastructure performance for high throughput and low latency
- Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable deployments
- Implement robust monitoring, logging, and observability solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and system reliability improvements
- Apply FinOps principles to monitor and optimize cloud costs
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions





Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7-10 years of hands-on experience in backend and cloud engineering
- Strong experience with AWS services, including:
- * Compute: EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda
- * Databases: RDS, DynamoDB
- * Messaging: SQS, SNS, Kafka
- * Caching: Redis / ElastiCache
- * Networking & CDN: CloudFront, VPC
- * AWS Security Services
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools
- Experience working with observability tools like Prometheus/Grafana
- Experience working with high-scale systems (10M+ users or high RPS environments)
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on performance and scalability
- Ability to own end-to-end systems and communicate technical decisions and trade-offs effectively

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience scaling platforms from 100K to 100M+ users
- Exposure to microservices architecture and API gateway design
- Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments (IAM, secrets management, encryption)
- Experience with blue-green / canary deployments
- Knowledge of serverless architecture patterns
- Prior experience in high-growth or product-based environments
