Title: Design Engineer / Sr. Design Engineer - Press Tool
Location: Yelahanka, Bangalore
Role:
- Design Progressive & Stage tools for sheet metal components.
- Handle sheet thickness ranging from 0.10 mm to 5.00 mm.
- Develop cutting-edge and productivity-focused tool designs.
- Follow ISO documentation procedures.
- Guide and mentor junior designers.
- Coordinate with the tool development team for design improvements.
Required Skills:
- AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Unigraphics/NX.
- Knowledge of tool steels and standard die components (Misumi, Fibro, etc.).
- Understanding of ferrous/non-ferrous sheet metal properties and tool material selection.
- Strong focus on right-first-time design approach.
Qualification: Post Diploma / Postgraduate in Tool Design (NTTF/GTTC/PSG preferred) with min. 3-7 yrs exp. in Press Tool Design Salary: As per industry standards
