Role Description

- Programming of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA Systems.
- Parametering of AC VFDs and AC Servo Drives.
- Understand Customer’s requirements of machine / plant automation and control.
- Select suitable automation, electrical, and other related products to suit control requirements.
- Prepare BOM and System Architecture from selected products.
- Designing of Control Panels using Electrical CAD Software (like EPLAN).
- Supervise wiring between control panel and machine / plant.
- Perform testing and commissioning of complete system.
- Troubleshooting of control panels.
- Perform organizational working procedure on ERP System.
- The role requires frequent visits to client sites for project-related work, which may include locations within Ahmedabad, within the state, across the country,



and occasionally overseas. Working hours may vary based on project and site requirements. Travel is an integral part of the job profile; therefore, no additional overtime compensation is applicable for this position.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of machine automation and control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo drives, sensors, and industrial control components.

Positive electrical engineering knowledge for machine control panel design, wiring, I/O configuration, and machine-level electrical systems.

Hands-on experience in PLC programming, machine sequencing, HMI development, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Ability to diagnose automation and machine-related issues through PLC diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.

Experience with servo systems, motion control, robotics, or robotic integration will be an added advantage.

Ability to read and prepare electrical schematics, control circuit diagrams, I/O lists, and other technical documentation.

Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, or similar will be an advantage.

Relevant Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.

Good communication and coordination skills for working with customers, vendors, and internal project teams.

Willingness to travel to customer sites for machine installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service support.

Ability to work effectively in a project-based and fast-paced industrial environment.
