About the Role

St. Peter’s Senior Secondary School is looking for a responsible, energetic, and sports-oriented Sports Arena Coordinator to manage the evening operations of our newly opened Peterian Sports Arena, a modern indoor sports facility with Basketball, Volleyball and Pickleball courts.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the smooth functioning of the arena during evening hours, coordinating sports activities, managing court usage, supervising users, maintaining discipline and ensuring the facility is operated safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day evening operations of the indoor sports arena.
- Coordinate and supervise the use of basketball, volleyball and pickleball courts.
- Prepare and manage court schedules, bookings and practice sessions.
- Coordinate with coaches, trainers, students, staff and other authorized users.
- Ensure proper utilization and protected handling of sports equipment.
- Monitor the condition of courts, equipment and other sports facilities.
- Maintain attendance, booking and usage records.
- Ensure discipline and adherence to arena rules and safety procedures.
- Supervise the opening and closing of the facility during assigned hours.
- Report equipment damage, maintenance requirements and other issues to the Administration.
- Assist in organizing sports training sessions, tournaments, competitions and other activities.
- Coordinate with external coaches, teams or groups using the facility, when required.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper arrangement of the sports area after each session.
- Handle basic queries from students, parents, staff and authorized users.




- Take immediate action in case of minor incidents and escalate emergencies appropriately.
- Support the school in developing and promoting regular sports activities and programs.
- Perform other sports facility-related duties assigned by the Management.

Candidate Profile
- Graduate / Diploma in Physical Education, Sports Management, Sports Science or a related field is preferred.
- Candidates with relevant experience in sports facility management, coaching, academy management or sports administration will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of at least one or more of Basketball, Volleyball or Pickleball.
- Candidates with experience in multiple sports will have an added advantage.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with students, parents, coaches and visitors.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Responsible, punctual and physically active.
- Ability to independently manage evening operations.
- Basic computer knowledge for maintaining schedules, attendance and booking records.
- Candidates with First Aid / CPR certification will be preferred.

Experience Preferred: 2–5 years of experience in sports coaching, sports academy management, sports facility management or a similar role.

Freshers with a strong sports background and excellent communication/coordination skills may also be considered.

Working Hours

Primarily evening hours, including selected weekends/holidays based on arena requirements and scheduled activities.
