Key Responsibilities
- Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments using standardized tests, observations, and caregiver interviews.
- Treatment Planning: Create individual short-term and long-term care goals tailored to each child's specific developmental profile.
- Therapy Delivery: Provide engaging, play-based intervention sessions targeting articulation, expressive/receptive language, social communication (pragmatics), fluency/stuttering, and oral-motor/swallowing issues.
- Family Education: Train parents and caregivers on strategies to carry over communication exercises into daily home routines.
- Collaboration: Work alongside pediatricians, occupational therapists, and educators within a multidisciplinary team.
