Eligibility/Qualification– Assistant Professor Grade I

- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
- First Division in the preceding degree or equivalent.
- Excellent academic record throughout.
- Minimum 3 years of post-Ph.D. teaching, research, or industrial experience.

Assistant Professor Grade II
- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
- First Division in the preceding degree.
- Excellent academic record.
- Candidates with less than 3 years post-Ph.D. experience may be appointed on contract and considered for regular appointment after performance review.

Note: Experience gained during the Ph.D. programme will not be counted as post-Ph.D. experience. Exceptional candidates from industry may receive relaxation in experience requirements at the institute’s discretion.
