Role Description The Space Lab Scientist is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for supporting experimental research and development activities for spacetech solutions. Daily responsibilities include planning and conducting laboratory experiments, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, and collecting and analyzing data to validate newspace sustainability concepts.
The role involves implementing quality control procedures, documenting protocols and results, and ensuring compliance with laboratory safety and operational standards.
The Space Lab
Scientist will work closely with engineering and research teams to translate experimental findings into practical design improvements and contribute to continuous innovation in InspeCity’s space systems.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong laboratory skills and hands-on experience working in scientific or engineering lab environments.
- Candidates should possess analytical skills to interpret experimental data, troubleshoot issues, and provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Candidates should possess quality control skills to design, monitor, and refine testing protocols that ensure reliable and reproducible results.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with laboratory medicine principles or related scientific disciplines where applicable to space systems.
- Candidates should possess experience with laboratory equipment, including setup, calibration, maintenance, and safe operation.
- Relevant qualifications may include a degree in physics, aerospace engineering, materials science, chemistry, or a related field.
- Beneficial skills include data analysis tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB), experimental design, technical documentation, and adherence to safety standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, manage multiple experiments, and communicate findings clearly in written and verbal form.
