Role Description The Sourcing Manager role at VB Group Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Thane.

The Sourcing

Manager will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and competitive pricing. Daily tasks include negotiating contracts, monitoring supplier performance, analyzing purchasing data, and optimizing sourcing strategies to support business objectives. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams such as procurement, operations, finance, and quality to align sourcing activities with organizational needs.

Manager will also track market trends, assess risks,



and implement continuous improvements in sourcing processes while maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Qualifications Demonstrated experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

Strong skills in vendor evaluation, negotiation, and contract management, with the ability to secure favorable terms and long-term partnerships.

Ability to analyze cost structures, market trends, and procurement data to inform strategic sourcing decisions.

Solid understanding of inventory management, logistics coordination, and basic financial principles related to purchasing.

Proficiency in using sourcing and procurement tools or ERP systems, along with intermediate skills in spreadsheets and reporting.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on accuracy, timelines, and continuous process improvement.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) are an advantage.

Prior experience in on-site roles and familiarity with regional supplier markets in or around Thane is beneficial.
