Technical Sourcing & Supplier Development Engineer who is passionate about technology,

hardware, and product development.

Role Overview

This role bridges Engineering, Procurement, and Product Development. You will work closely with

R&D;, Production, and Procurement teams to identify recent suppliers, source critical components,

evaluate technologies, optimize product costs, and support the development of next-generation products.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Sourcing & Supplier Development

- Identify and onboard new OEMs, ODMs, manufacturers, and component suppliers.
- Source electronic, mechanical, UAV, camera, and embedded system components.
- Evaluate suppliers based on technical capability, quality, pricing, lead time, and reliability.
- Develop alternate sourcing strategies to reduce cost and supply risks.

Product Development Support

- Coordinate with R&D; during new product development.
- Assist in component selection and technical sourcing.
- Support preparation and optimization of Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Identify alternative components to improve cost, availability, and product performance.

Procurement & Commercial Coordination





- Manage RFQs and supplier quotations.
- Coordinate with vendors on pricing, lead times, MOQ, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Support supplier negotiations and long-term vendor development.

Market & Technology Research

- Research emerging technologies, new suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
- Benchmark competitor products and sourcing strategies.
- Identify innovative components and solutions to strengthen IZI's product portfolio.

Cross-Functional Coordination

- Work closely with R&D;, Production, Procurement, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure timely sourcing and successful product development.

Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics,

Aerospace, or a related Engineering discipline.
- 6 Months – 3 Years of experience in Technical Procurement, Supplier Development, Product

Engineering, Supply Chain, or Component Sourcing.
- Basic understanding of electronic and mechanical components.
- Familiarity with Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering drawings, and product development processes.
- Strong communication, analytical, and coordination skills.
- Interest in supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing, and new product development.
- Willingness to travel to supplier locations and manufacturing facilities when required.
