Key Skills Required:

- BE in Mechanical Engineering with 1214 years of experience in Cost Management, NPD Sourcing, or Value Engineering.

- Solid knowledge of cost estimation, target costing, value engineering (VE), BOM, and cost breakdown structures (CBS).

- Good understanding of raw material pricing, sourcing strategies, commercial impact, and market benchmarking.

- Working knowledge of SAP MM, cost reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with Design, Procurement, Production, and Finance teams.

- Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills with the ability to identify cost optimization opportunities while maintaining quality and delivery targets.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for new products, projects, and components by analyzing material, labor, tooling, and overhead costs.





- Perform zero-based cost analysis, value engineering, and cost-benefit studies to identify and implement cost reduction opportunities.

- Collaborate with Design, Procurement, Production, Quality, and Finance teams to optimize product costs throughout the product lifecycle.

- Develop and maintain cost models, BOM validations, benchmarking reports, and transparent cost reports to support management decisions.

- Monitor cost performance, recommend process improvements, and ensure all cost optimization initiatives align with business objectives, quality standards, and project timelines.
