Purpose
CEEW seeks to hire a Programme Associate (PA) to drive its work at its Green Finance Centre (CEEW-GFC) which was launched in July 2019. The mandate of CEEW-GFC is to facilitate mobilisation of the vast amount of capital needed for the green economy. Under this broad mandate, its work spans renewable energy, mobility, industrial decarbonisation, climate adaptation, nature, instruments and regulations as well as cross cutting levers such as carbon markets and taxonomies. The Centre has a particular focus on designing financial solutions which will unlock finance at scale.
As an integral member of the CEEW-GFC team, the responsibilities of the PA will broadly entail:
● Leveraging his/her domain expertise in finance to contribute to the next phase of CEEW-GFC’s growth.
● Work on the several ongoing research programmes.
● Independently developing concepts for current research programmes.
● Support for external stakeholder engagements.
● Supporting members of the Leadership Group and the CEO as required.

Primary Responsibilities
Research




● Conceptualize new research ideas that are aligned with programme objectives
● Support in the development of a series of publications including policy briefs, reports as well as publish in high quality peer reviewed national and international journals
● Contribute towards the various forms of analysis that CEEW-GFC frequently publishes on its website (GFC Explains, GFC Analysis, GFC Insights, Tools & Dashboards)
● Keep a track of the latest policy developments in India and across the world for the latest insights in this space
● In person discussions with stakeholders, including travel when required, to conduct primary and secondary research

Research Management
● Take ownership of specific projects under the umbrella programme, and ensure that activities and deliverables are being delivered as per the defined programme strategy
● Proactively manage project deliverables, resources to international quality standards, within time and
