About the Role

Join Chargebee's Legal team to strengthen the company's global privacy and data protection program by collaborating with Product, Security, IT, HR, and other cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead privacy and compliance initiatives.
Maintain privacy records, data maps, and inventories.
Manage DPIAs, PIAs, vendor privacy reviews, and DSARs.
Embed privacy-by-design into products and projects.
Support privacy contracts (DPAs, SCCs, TIAs).




Monitor global privacy regulations (GDPR, CPRA, DPDP Act).
Track privacy metrics and dashboards.
Advise on AI/privacy governance.
Support privacy incident response.

Requirements

LLB/BL degree.
4+ years' experience in privacy, data protection, or compliance.
Solid knowledge of GDPR, CPRA, DPDP Act, and privacy operations.
Experience with tools like OneTrust, TrustArc, or Transcend.
Excellent program management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Understanding of SaaS technologies and responsible use of AI tools.
