Intelligent Infrastructure

Help turn data into insight that shapes real-world infrastructure decisions.

As part of our Intelligent Infrastructure team, you’ll work on projects that combine data, analysis, and client

insight to support better decisions across transport, workplace, and public sector services.

Example work: supporting clients such as the UK’s National Highways and Department for Transport on projects

ranging from analysing network performance data, to contributing to national programmes like Data for Road

Safety (DFRS), and developing machine learning proofs of concept using real-world data, while helping turn

fragmented datasets into usable platforms that support operational decisions and future investment.

We’re looking for an experienced Data Consultant who can combine strong data skills with curiosity, problemsolving and clear communication. This role sits at the core of delivery; someone trusted to take ownership of tasks

or work packages, while working as part of a wider team.

Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing





 Independently deliver tasks and work packages within data projects, from initial exploration through to

delivery

 Analyse and interpret data from a range of sources such as operational, asset, or service data to generate

insight

 Build clear, practical outputs including dashboards, reports, or simple data models that support decisionmaking

 Work directly with clients to understand problems, shape analysis, and communicate findings

 Contribute to discovery activities, helping define what data is needed and how it can be used

 Bring together data from multiple sources, understanding and modelling relationships between datasets

to support integration and create a clear, usable data view

 Apply good practice in data management/governance, documentation, and technical assurance

 Support wider delivery by contributing to proposals, methods, and team ways of working
