Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role fully work from home.

The Software Test

Engineer will design, develop, and maintain test cases for BangDB’s core platform and related tools, ensuring high reliability and performance across diverse use cases. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing manual and automated tests, validating new features, regression testing, logging and tracking defects,



and collaborating closely with software developers to refine requirements and improve product quality. The role also involves creating clear test documentation, contributing to test strategy, and participating in continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Software Testing, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Ability to design and document effective Test Cases and execute them systematically.
- Experience in Test Execution, defect reporting, and test result analysis.
- Basic understanding of Software Development concepts and collaboration with engineering teams.
- Knowledge of testing tools and frameworks for automation (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, PyTest) is beneficial.
- Familiarity with databases, distributed systems, or data platforms is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a hybrid environment with cross-functional teams.
