Python Backend Developer (2+ Years Experience)

Location: Noida Sector 62 (On-site)

About the Role

MindDMC is looking for an experienced Python Backend Developer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in backend development. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in building scalable backend systems, designing APIs, working with databases, and contributing to production-grade web applications. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers, product teams, and other engineers to deliver reliable and effective solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python and Django.

Build, optimize, and maintain REST APIs for web and mobile applications.

Design and manage PostgreSQL databases, including database performance tuning.

Develop scalable, secure, and maintainable backend architectures.

Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues in development and production environments.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.

Collaborate with frontend developers and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical planning.

Contribute to AI-powered applications and backend integrations.

Mentor junior developers and contribute to improving development processes and standards.





Requirements

Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Python backend development.

Strong proficiency in Python and Django.

Experience designing, building, and consuming REST APIs.

Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and SQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.

Good understanding of software design principles and web application architecture.

Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Django REST Framework.

Understanding of caching, asynchronous tasks, and background job processing.

Experience with deployment workflows and production environments.

Experience working on AI-related projects such as RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), LLM integrations, AI agents, or similar applications.

Experience working in Agile development environments.

Eligibility

Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in Python backend development.

Candidates available for on-site work in Noida Sector 62.
