Software Engineer Digital Claims Channel, Assurant, GCC-India

​​As part of a European Scrum team dedicated to onboarding recent clients at Assurant Europe region on GSSP solution, the Software Engineer will report into our Application Delivery team. He/She will be involved with the full end to end process of onboarding new clients to our customer facing digital claims channel. The role includes the analysis of requirements, cloning of existing sites, updating site content & configuration, defect triage, testing, and releases.

This position will be in Bengaluru & Hyderabad at our India location.

Working Hours : 11:30 AM IST to 8:30 PM IST

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

- Analyze requirements and design solutions for approved projects and change requests of moderate to high complexity.
- Configure application according to business and technical requirements.
- Triage defects.
- Work with a wide range of business and IT stakeholders in regions across the globe.
- Participate in quality assurance and testing to achieve quality goals.
- Implement Solutions.
- Provide System Support.




- Maintain knowledge of the business operations and goals of Assurant.
- Support and inform multiple project teams to achieve project goals.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

- Background in Sitefinity or other content management systems.
- 5 + Years of experience in defect investigation and resolution.
- 5 + Years of experience translating business requirements to technical requirements.
- Ability to work with global business and IT stakeholders to refine requirements and work through defects.
- Basic understanding of ASP.NET with knowledge of MVC, Web Forms, and ASP. Net Core MVC. ( 5+ Years)
- Basic knowledge in Angular, HTML, ADO, and Azure preferred,
- Proficiency in software engineering tools (e.g. ADO, TFS, GIT, HP Fortify).
