Role Description This is a full-time remote role for Software Engineers, with 35 positions available. Team members will design, develop, and maintain backend services and core platform components that support high-volume, real-time cybersecurity operations.





Daily responsibilities include implementing recent features, optimizing performance and scalability, writing clean and testable code, and collaborating with product and security teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. Engineers will participate in code reviews, contribute to architecture discussions, and help ensure reliability, security, and maintainability across the platform. The role also involves troubleshooting production issues, improving automation, and continuously enhancing the AI-driven capabilities of the Seceon ecosystem.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Experience in Software Development and Back-End Web Development, building scalable and reliable services or APIs.
- Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), using one or more modern languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++, Go, or similar).
- Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, or cloud-native architectures (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, major cloud providers).
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, logging, telemetry, or security operations is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, message queues, and performance optimization in high-throughput environments.
- Ability to write unit and integration tests, use version control (Git), and follow secure coding and best engineering practices.
- Effective remote collaboration skills, including clear communication, documentation, and ownership of tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
