NAbout Ruceru

nRuceru is a Kolkata-based luxury couture house, fifteen years in the making. We work in drape, hand embroidery, and made-to-order construction. We're a house that leads taste rather than follows trends, and our social presence needs to reflect that discipline.

NThe Role

nWe're looking for a Social Media Manager to own Ruceru's presence end-to-end — from creative direction and content to captions, community, and reporting. You'll work directly with the founders, help shape and protect our brand voice and positioning as we grow, and shoot/edit a meaningful share of content yourself. You'll eventually take on our sister brands as they come online.

NWhat you'll do

- Own creative direction for content — concepts, shot lists, and visual storytelling, not just execution

- Help develop and safeguard Ruceru's brand voice and positioning alongside the founders

- Shoot content on iPhone(Reels, BTS, atelier/karigar moments) and edit video in-house
N
- Handle graphic design for social assets, story templates, and campaign visuals
N
- Own the content calendar and posting cadence
N




- Write and edit captionsin line with our brand's verbal grammar
N
- Coordinate larger shoots with the atelier and external photographers when needed
N
- Manage community: DMs, comments, and routing enquiries to the right person
N
- Track performance (saves, outbound clicks, engagement quality — not vanity metrics) and report to the founders

- Manage the image prep pipeline (Topaz Photo AI + Lightroom)

- Influencer Marketing

nWhat we're lookingfor

N

- Strong eye for visual storytelling and comfort making creative calls independently
N
- Hands-on skills: iPhone shooting, video editing (Reels/CapCut/Premiere or similar), and graphic design (Canva/Photoshop or similar)
N
- Robust, precise writing— able to hold and help evolve a brand's voice, not just follow a style guide
N
- Comfortable with Instagram's full toolset and basic performance reporting

- Organized enough to runa calendar independently and hit deadlines without hand-holding
N
- Fashion/luxury knowledge is required
N
- Based in or willing to relocate to Kolkata;
