About the Role

We are seeking a creative, analytical, and trend-savvy Social Media Analyst to manage and grow our brand presence across multiple social media platforms. The ideal candidate will combine creative storytelling with data-driven decision-making to develop engaging content, manage online communities, support influencer collaborations, and maintain website content.

This role requires someone who understands social media trends, content marketing, video storytelling, and digital engagement while working collaboratively with designers, videographers, content writers, and marketing teams to deliver impactful campaigns.

Key Responsibilities Social Media Strategy & Planning

- Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with marketing and business objectives.
- Create monthly and quarterly social media content calendars.
- Research industry trends, competitors, and audience behaviour.
- Identify new content opportunities to improve engagement and brand awareness.
- Plan campaigns for events, promotions, and seasonal activities.

Creative Content Ideation

- Brainstorm innovative content ideas tailored for different social media platforms.
- Develop creative campaign concepts that resonate with target audiences.
- Suggest trending formats including Reels, Stories, Shorts, Carousels, and Live sessions.
- Identify viral trends and adapt them for brand communication.
- Recommend interactive content such as polls, quizzes, contests, and user-generated campaigns.

Content Creation

- Write compelling captions, headlines, and social media copy.
- Develop platform-specific content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and X (Twitter).
- Coordinate with graphic designers and video editors to produce engaging creatives.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and tone of voice.
- Repurpose existing content into multiple formats for improved reach.
- Ability to create strong video scripts with hooks and clear calls-to-action.




- Collaborate with video production teams to ensure high-quality output.
- Write SEO-friendly blog articles aligned with business goals.
- Create website articles, landing page copy, FAQs, and resource guides.
- Repurpose blog content into social media posts, newsletters, and email campaigns.
- Coordinate with SEO teams to optimise content for search engines.

Social Media Page Management

- Manage and maintain business profiles across all social media platforms.
- Schedule and publish content using social media management tools.
- Ensure branding consistency across all channels.
- Monitor comments, messages, and community interactions.
- Respond to customer enquiries and escalate issues where required.
- Maintain platform hygiene by updating bios, links, highlights, and profile information.

Community Engagement

- Build and nurture an engaged online community.
- Monitor audience sentiment and respond promptly to interactions.
- Encourage user-generated content and customer advocacy.
- Foster positive relationships with followers and customers.
- Identify opportunities to increase engagement and retention.

Influencer Marketing Coordination

- Research and identify suitable influencers and content creators.
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers.
- Coordinate influencer campaigns from briefing to execution.
- Monitor campaign deliverables and timelines.
- Track campaign performance and ROI.
- Ensure influencer content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.

Website Content Management

- Update website banners, landing pages, blogs, and promotional content.




- Coordinate with developers for website content changes.
- Ensure website content remains accurate, relevant, and up to date.

Analytics & Reporting

- Monitor social media performance using platform analytics and third-party tools.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve content and campaign performance.

Trend Monitoring

- Stay updated on emerging social media trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes.
- Recommend new content formats and engagement strategies.
- Monitor competitor activities and identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Explore AI-powered tools to enhance content creation and productivity.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with marketing, design, video, SEO, and paid media teams.
- Coordinate content requirements for advertising campaigns.
- Support event promotions, webinars, and product launches.
- Assist with employer branding and internal communication initiatives.

Required Skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong copywriting and storytelling abilities.
- Creative thinking with an eye for design and visual aesthetics.
- Understanding of social media algorithms and platform best practices.
- Experience creating content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and X.
- Knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
- Basic video editing knowledge using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro.
- Solid analytical and reporting skills.
- Excellent organisational and project management abilities.

Preferred Experience

- 2–4 years of experience in social media marketing or content marketing.
- Experience managing multiple brand accounts.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools such as Meta Business Suite,
- Experience working with influencers and brand collaborations.
- Basic photography or videography skills are desirable.
