Job Role The Senior Manager will be involved in providing objective advise, expertise, guidance and specialist skills with the aim of exceeding the engagement expectations. The Senior Manager will mainly work with the EY team to:

- Lead multiple Global Business Services engagements covering Sourcing Strategy, Outsourcing Advisory, Location Advisory, GBS Operating Model Design, GBS Implementation, Program Management and GBS Optimization
- Design the GBS target operating model (TOM) for future state for various functions (Finance, HR, Procurement, IT, and others)
- Review activities such as engagement economics and receivables, project resources and team utilization
- Own and lead the delivery / execution of high-quality deliverables and manage service quality, brand, and client expectations




- Drive business development initiatives, build and manage relationships with existing and new clients, including market corridors
- Support in building new solutions and taking them to the market
- Contribute to the firm’s initiatives in enhancing market leadership & growth, quality, people agenda and operational excellence
- Contribute to brand development by writing articles, developing thought leadership and point-of-views
- Contribute to knowledge development and management
- Demonstrate significant industry / solution expertise
- Build a strong team and be a strong role model, mentor, and coach
- Support people development through guidance and feedback
- Ensure compliance to the firm’s standards, processes and policies
- Contribute to the firm’s initiatives in enhancing market leadership & growth, quality, people agenda and operational excellence
- Manage senior external/internal stakeholders independently

Professional Background
- 8 - 12 years of relevant post MBA experience - Consulting background (preferably) or Industry background (Business excellence / functional role/ Solution / Sales)
- GBS Transformation experience across Finance, HR, IT, Procurement functions, and in industry specific services
- In-depth knowledge of current GBS, offshoring & outsourcing trends and leading practices
- Process optimization experience in process areas like Lead to Order (L2O), Order to Cash (O2C), Record to report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), Hire to Retire (H2R)
- Experience in leading delivery of engagements involving Operating model design, shared services setup / implementation, process transformation, GBS optimization, location advisory, business diagnostics, business case analysis and planning, sourcing strategy, outsourcing / offshoring strategy,



shared service transformation, design of SLAs, process KPIs and reporting requirements
- Should have worked in any one or more of following industry verticals –
- Automotive & Manufacturing, Technology, Media, Telecom, Consumer Products & Retail, Life Sciences and Energy
- Experience in managing engagement sales cycle including technical and commercial proposals

Preferred Skills
- Expertise in one or more of the areas listed – process transformation, business process diagnostics, business case analysis & planning, Service sourcing, RFP process, Outsourcing/offshoring strategy and setup, GBS transformation or Design of SLAs, process KPIs and reporting requirements
- Exposure to ERP suite like Oracle, SAP and other technologies like RPA / AI / ML / workflows / Function specific tools
- Experience with process mapping and optimisation tools like Microsoft Visio, IBM, Celonis etc.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and collaborate
- Ability to understand client requirements and develop / customize solutions

- The Senior Manager would be required to travel to client locations
