Role Description The Site Supervisor will oversee day-to-day activities at commercial project sites in Kolkata, ensuring that work is executed according to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. This full-time, on-site role includes coordinating with contractors, vendors, and internal design teams, monitoring progress against timelines, and resolving issues that arise during construction or installation.

The Site

Supervisor will regularly inspect work, document site status, and provide updates and reports to project managers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities also include managing site resources, ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols, and supporting smooth handover of completed spaces to clients.



The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and clear communication with all parties involved in the project.

Qualifications

- Experience supervising construction or fit-out sites for commercial spaces, with strong knowledge of on-site workflows and coordination.
- Understanding of space planning, interior design execution, and reading/interpretation of technical drawings and layouts.
- Knowledge of safety standards, quality control practices, and local building regulations applicable to commercial projects.
- Strong organizational, time management, and reporting skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines on site.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal design teams.
- Proficiency in basic office and documentation tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, site reporting formats); familiarity with project management software is an advantage.
- Prior experience in site supervision or project coordination in architecture, interior design, or construction; experience in commercial projects in Kolkata is a plus.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work extended hours on site when required, and maintain a professional, inclusive, and respectful working setting.
