Collaborate with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions

Work on the GCP Kubernetes cluster for upgrades, migration, and troubleshooting.

Maintain the Kafka cluster and Devtron CICD tool, and improve productivity by addressing the technical challenges encountered daily.

Continuously monitor the cloud infrastructure to minimize downtime.

Take ownership of issues, providing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to the team

Develop automation strategies to reduce daily manual tasks, improve infrastructure, and conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new technologies.

Here s what we re looking for

Managing GCP Cloud services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SDK, Cloud SQL, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud CDN, Dataflow, Operations, Cloud Run, Anthos, and Cloud Functions.

Utilizing SCM client tools like GitLab and GitHub .

Collaborating with developers to create deployment files, Helm charts , and playbooks , adhering to Infrastructure as Code principles,

Implementing Kubernetes, Cloud Run, Terraform, autoscaling, and other deployment strategies to facilitate CI/CD processes

Providing daily support to development and application teams for Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment-related issues.





Developing and implementing disaster recovery (DR) pipelines in collaboration with development and application teams, focusing on replicating existing cloud applications to other regions

Using the Devtron tool to manage application deployments and automation within our CI/CD pipeline

Configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Kafka clusters .

Understanding application architecture and assisting the application team with application setup and issue resolution.

Implementing cost-control strategies across our cloud infrastructure.

Positive problem solving and debugging skills.

- Good to Have - Exposure or Experience working with the Kubernetes, GCP cloud, Kafka cluster, Devtron(CICD tool) Gitlab and Terraform environment.

Familiar with SQL DBs, Networking

What you bring to Ather

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering.

5+ Years of experience in DevOps and SRE roles.
