Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Engineer role based in Indore.

The Site

Engineer will oversee daily construction and installation activities for wooden flooring, cladding, decking, ceilings, and related structural elements, ensuring work is completed according to design specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities include supervising site teams, coordinating with civil and structural engineers, monitoring material usage, and maintaining clear communication with project managers and clients. The role involves conducting quality checks on workmanship and materials, resolving technical issues on site,



and documenting project progress and site reports.

The Site

Engineer will also support planning and scheduling, ensure adherence to timelines, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects to Signify Wood’s quality standards.

Qualifications

- On-site project supervision skills, including experience managing site activities and coordinating multiple teams.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, contractors, and internal project stakeholders.
- Quality control skills, with the ability to inspect materials and workmanship and ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
- Knowledge of structural engineering principles and practical experience working with civil engineers on construction or interior fit-out projects.
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field, with prior experience as a Site Engineer or in construction/woodwork projects.
- Understanding of wooden flooring, cladding, decking, and related materials; experience with wood or interior projects is an advantage.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using basic project documentation tools; familiarity with AutoCAD or similar software is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain a solid focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
