Company Description Silpi Architects is a multidisciplinary architecture and design firm based in Cochin, established in 2000. The firm delivers turnkey consultancy projects across townships, multi-storied apartments, religious buildings, institutions, resorts, and other developments.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Engineer role located in Kochi.

The Site

Engineer will oversee daily construction activities, ensuring that work is carried out according to architectural and structural drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with architects, contractors, and suppliers; monitoring project progress; conducting site inspections; and resolving on-site technical issues. The role involves implementing quality control measures, maintaining documentation and reports, and ensuring timely completion of milestones.

The Site

Engineer will also support project management activities by tracking resources, identifying risks,



and communicating updates to the project team.

Qualifications

- Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment, managing day-to-day site operations and coordination.
- Solid communication skills for interacting with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
- Experience in quality control, including site inspections, adherence to standards, and documentation of work.
- Knowledge of structural engineering principles and their application in building construction.
- Background as a civil engineer or equivalent, with understanding of construction methods and materials.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings; familiarity with basic construction software tools.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems on-site, and maintain a high level of safety and compliance.
- Prior experience in residential, commercial, or institutional projects is preferred.

Location: Kochi & Kottayam Preference: Candidates residing in Kottayam or nearby areas will be given preference for positions at the Kottayam site.
