Site Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Supervise and inspect foundation construction activities on site, ensuring work is executed strictly in accordance with approved structural drawings and specifications.

- Verify concrete mix designs, reinforcement placement, cover maintenance, and concrete pour quality for all equipment foundations.

- Conduct pre-pour inspections and issue pour clearance certificates after verification of reinforcement and shuttering.

- Conduct post-erection vibration monitoring of foundations after installation of manufacturing equipment, using vibration measurement instruments (e.g., accelerometers, velocity transducers).

- Record, analyze, and document vibration readings; compare post-erection measurements against design-predicted natural frequencies and allowable vibration limits.

- Identify and report any structural anomalies, cracks, settlement, or deformations observed during or after construction.

- Raise and track site RFIs (Requests for Information) with the design office for timely resolution of site queries.

- Prepare daily/weekly site inspection reports, vibration monitoring reports, and non-conformance reports (NCRs) as required.

- Verify that as-built conditions are captured and feed information back to the drawing office for as-built documentation.

- Liaise with client's site representatives (Micron Semiconductors)



and third-party inspectors to ensure quality and compliance.

- Ensure site activities comply with applicable safety regulations, client HSE requirements, and IEPCC's quality management system.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering.

- 4–8 years of experience in structural site engineering, with at least 2 years involving industrial equipment foundation construction or installation.

- Hands-on experience with post-erection vibration monitoring and measurement – strongly preferred.

- Familiarity with vibration measurement instruments and data acquisition systems (e.g., PCB PiezPiezotronics, Brüel & Kjær equivalent).

- Experience raising and managing site RFIs, NCRs, and inspection test plans (ITPs).

- Working knowledge of IS 456, IS 13920, and relevant construction codes.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD for reviewing and marking up construction drawings on site.

- Experience with semiconductor or precision manufacturing facility construction is a significant advantage.

- Knowledge of cleanroom construction requirements and sensitive equipment installation protocols is preferred.
