Role Description The Shift In-Charge Maintenance role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The individual in this role will oversee maintenance activities during assigned shifts, ensuring continuous and reliable operation of production equipment and utilities.

Responsibilities include planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance, supervising maintenance technicians, coordinating with production teams to minimize downtime, and maintaining accurate maintenance logs and reports. The role involves monitoring equipment performance, identifying recurring issues,



implementing improvements, and enforcing safety procedures and compliance with company standards.

The Shift

In-Charge Maintenance will also support spare parts management, vendor coordination, and contribute to process optimization and cost-effective maintenance practices.

Qualifications

- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation systems used in manufacturing or energy-related industries.
- Proven experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing corrective actions.
- Ability to supervise maintenance teams, allocate tasks during shifts, and coordinate effectively with production and quality departments.
- Familiarity with maintenance planning, documentation, use of CMMS or similar tools, and basic understanding of lean or continuous improvement practices.
- Sound understanding of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and safe work practices in an industrial environment.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline; experience in solar or manufacturing plants is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, shift-based workplace.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
