Job Purpose:As a CNC Mechanical Service Engineer your primary responsibility will be to oversee the mechanical installation, geometry setting, commissioning, service, maintenance, and repair of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Machines CNC Lathe and Machining Centre.

To excel in this role, you should have extensive experience in mechanical service and maintenance of CNC Machines. Your proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues will be crucial. Additionally, you must be able to read and interpret mechanical assemblies & drawings and diagrams effectively.

A deep understanding of safety protocols and regulations pertaining to mechanical work is essential for this position. Your strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities will be key in ensuring the smooth functioning of CNC equipment.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a CNC Service Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of CNC machinery mainly mechanics and some portion of electronics
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics
- Robust verbal and written communication skills




- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed

Key Skills and Competencies:

- In-depth knowledge of CNC machine operations, controls (FANUC, SIEMENS, Mitsubishi) and mechanics
- Hands- on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication and electrical systems
- Conversant with Drawing fits and tolerances
- Conversant with reading and understanding critical mechanical assembly drawings
- Good communication and vendor coordination skills
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
- Desirable Qualifications (Optional):
- Certification in CNC programming or maintenance
- Exposure to industry 40 tools or CMMS systems

Qualification: B.E / B. Tech/Diploma - Mechanical/ Mechatronics Experience: 4 + Years in CNC Machines (Lathe and Machining Centre) Installation, commissioning and Service (Preferably in manufacturing, precision engineering or Machine tool manufacturing industries)
