Role Description This is a full-time, in office role for a Service Engineer – Diesel Generator based in Ahmedabad.

The Service

Engineer will perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of diesel generator sets and associated electrical equipment at customer sites.

Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, performing routine preventive maintenance, and providing technical support and guidance to clients. The role involves preparing service reports, coordinating with the internal team for spare parts and tools, and ensuring work is completed safely and in line with company and industry standards.

The Service

Engineer will also support field inspections, assist in root-cause analysis of recurring issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of service processes. Qualifications

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for diesel generators and related electrical systems.

Experience in field service and on-site support for industrial or marine power equipment.

Ability to provide technical support, including interpreting manuals, schematics, and service documentation.

Proficiency in maintenance and repair of diesel engines, alternators, control panels,



and auxiliary systems.

Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Marine Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Working knowledge of safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and relevant industry regulations.

Willingness to travel to customer sites and work in industrial and marine environments as required.

Basic computer skills for reporting, documentation, and use of diagnostic tools;

experience with MS Office is an advantage.

Prior experience with generator OEMs or industrial power systems is preferred. Responsibilities:

Perform breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance on DG sets.

Commission, synchronize, erect diesel generators.
