Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Server role based in Kochi. The Server is responsible for greeting guests, presenting menus, taking orders accurately, and serving food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner. Daily tasks include setting up and clearing tables, ensuring cleanliness in the dining area, coordinating with the kitchen staff, and processing payments using the restaurant’s point-of-sale system.

The Server also answers guest questions about menu items, accommodates special requests where possible, and adheres to all food safety and hygiene standards. The role involves working flexible shifts, maintaining a professional appearance,



and contributing to a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

Experience in a server, waitstaff, or other front-of-house hospitality role, preferably in a restaurant, café, or hotel setting.

Robust customer service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and a friendly, professional demeanor.

Ability to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy in orders.

Familiarity with basic food and beverage service, menu descriptions, and point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Commitment to cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with food safety and workplace safety standards.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, carry trays or plates safely, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Reliable time management, willingness to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

High school diploma or equivalent; formal hospitality training or certifications are an advantage.

Comfort working in a diverse team environment and interacting respectfully with guests from various backgrounds.
