Configure and troubleshoot Hardware RAID (RAID 0/1/5/6/10 as applicable).
Perform disk partitioning on RAID, filesystem creation, and validation post deployment.
Replace failed disks and ensure successful rebuilds with minimal downtime. Firmware & System Maintenance
Execute firmware updates for servers and components (BIOS, iDRAC/iLO, RAID firmware, NIC firmware, SSD/NVMe firmware).
Follow maintenance windows, update procedures, rollback plans, and post-upgrade validation checklists.
Ensure compliance with internal standards for firmware baselines and security advisories. Operating Systems (Linux & Windows)
Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows Server on bare metal hardware.
Perform OS-level troubleshooting related to boot issues, drivers, storage recognition, services, performance, and patching.
Configure users, permissions, system services, and baseline hardening as per company standards. Networking Fundamentals & IP Configuration
Demonstrate strong understanding of
IPv4 public/private addressing, subnetting, gateway concepts, VLAN basics (if applicable).
