Job Summary

Autus Digital Agency is looking for a performance-driven SEO Team Lead to lead SEO activities across multiple projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on knowledge of On-Page SEO, Technical SEO, Content SEO, keyword strategy, competitor analysis, and SEO performance reporting.

This role involves leading SEO team members, reviewing work quality, coordinating with content and development teams, and driving measurable improvements in organic visibility, traffic, and lead generation.

Key ResponsibilitiesSEO Strategy & Keyword Research

- Conduct in-depth keyword research based on business objectives and search demand.
- Analyze competitor keywords, SERPs, and search trends to identify opportunities.
- Develop and guide keyword strategies across multiple projects.
- Create actionable SEO strategies based on performance data and business priorities.

On-Page & Content SEO
- Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, and internal linking.
- Review content structure, relevance, readability, and search intent alignment.
- Optimize images, including alt text and file naming.
- Review SEO recommendations before implementation and maintain quality standards.

Technical SEO
- Conduct regular website audits and identify technical SEO issues.
- Monitor crawlability, indexing, site architecture, mobile-friendliness, and site performance.
- Coordinate with developers to implement technical SEO recommendations.
- Track technical issues and ensure timely resolution.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor SEO performance using Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and SEO tools.
- Track organic traffic, rankings, visibility, and other relevant SEO metrics.
- Prepare regular SEO performance reports with actionable insights.




- Identify areas for improvement based on data and campaign performance.

Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor SEO Executives.
- Allocate tasks and monitor team progress.
- Review SEO work and maintain quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
- Ensure SEO activities are completed within agreed timelines.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with content writers, developers, designers, and marketing teams.
- Ensure SEO recommendations are communicated clearly and implemented correctly.
- Support SEO initiatives across multiple client projects.

Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with search engine algorithm changes and SEO industry developments.
- Continuously improve SEO strategies based on performance data.
- Identify opportunities to improve internal SEO processes and team efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3 years of practical SEO experience.
- Strong understanding of On-Page SEO, Technical SEO, and Content SEO.
- Strong knowledge of keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Valuable understanding of SERP behavior and search intent.
- Experience managing multiple SEO projects.
- Ability to analyze data and convert insights into actionable SEO strategies.
- Strong team management and mentoring skills.
- Excellent communication, documentation, reporting, and coordination skills.

SEO Tools

Hands-on experience with the following tools is preferred:

- SEMrush or Ahrefs
- Google Search Console
- Google Analytics 4
- Screaming Frog
