We are looking for a Senior webMethods Developer & Administrator with 8+ years of experience to design, develop, and administer enterprise integration solutions. The candidate will own end-to-end delivery across webMethods Integration Server, API Gateway, and Universal Messaging, while also managing Kubernetes-based deployments and CI/CD pipelines for middleware components.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and support integrations using webMethods Integration Server (flow services, Java services, adapters).
- Configure and administer webMethods API Gateway: policy enforcement, security (OAuth2/JWT/API keys), throttling, versioning, and API lifecycle management.
- Install, configure, and manage Universal Messaging (UM): topics/queues, ACLs, clustering, persistence, and failover.
- Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot webMethods components on Kubernetes (Helm charts, StatefulSets, ConfigMaps, Secrets, pod scaling).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitLab / Azure DevOps) for automated build, test, and deployment of integration assets.
- Diagnose and resolve performance, connectivity, and clustering issues (e.g., Terracotta Server Array, Apache Ignite topology/split-brain scenarios).
- Implement and support integration patterns: pub-sub, request-reply, event-driven architecture (EDA), and ESB-based flows.
- Manage database interactions including stored procedures, data transformations, and troubleshooting data inconsistencies.
- Set up monitoring and observability using tools such as Application Insights, ELK,



or Grafana; lead root-cause analysis (RCA) for incidents.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and downstream application teams to map and validate integration requirements.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to defining coding standards, best practices, and reusable integration frameworks.
- Maintain technical documentation, deployment runbooks, and support SOPs.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 8+ years of overall integration/middleware experience, with 5+ years hands-on in webMethods (Integration Server, API Gateway, Universal Messaging).
- Robust understanding of REST/SOAP web services, JSON/XML, and messaging protocols.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes: deployments, services, networking, and troubleshooting containerized workloads.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and scripting (YAML, Shell, Python, or similar).
- Proficiency in SQL, stored procedures, and data engineering/transformation tasks.
- Solid understanding of clustering and high-availability concepts (Terracotta, load balancers, shared databases).
- Strong analytical, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Good communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to cross-functional teams.

Good to Have

- Software AG webMethods certification.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP).
- Experience with API management tools beyond webMethods.
- Prior experience presenting architecture/design to technical and business stakeholders.

Educational Qualification Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
