About the Opportunity

Hirely is recruiting on behalf of one of our hiring partners for multiple Senior Software Engineering opportunities supporting frontier AI research and next-generation software engineering projects.

Selected candidates may be matched with one or more engineering projects based on their technical background, programming expertise, and software engineering experience. These projects focus on helping train advanced AI systems by creating high-quality software engineering environments, solving complex coding problems, debugging production systems, implementing new features, optimizing performance, and evaluating AI-generated software solutions.

Responsibilities:

As part of the project, you may:

- Build and solve complex software engineering workflows involving debugging, feature implementation, refactoring, and performance optimization.
- Design reproducible engineering environments and reference solutions used to evaluate next-generation AI models.
- Work with programming languages including Python, Java, Rust, Go, C++, and TypeScript .
- Analyze algorithms, optimize performance, and improve software scalability across production-quality codebases.
- Debug complex software systems and resolve real-world engineering issues.
- Contribute high-quality technical documentation, engineering reasoning, and code reviews.




- Collaborate with distributed engineering teams while following detailed project quality standards.

Requirements:

- Strong professional software engineering experience with one or more of Python, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript .
- Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, software architecture, and performance optimization.
- Experience debugging complex software systems and maintaining production-quality applications.
- Experience implementing features, refactoring large codebases, and improving software reliability.
- Strong problem-solving ability and excellent written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote workplace.

Compensation:

- Earn between $50-$150 per hour , depending on the assigned project.
- Flexible remote contractor engagement.
