Role Description The Senior Software Developer Engineer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Tharthari, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs that power SaathApp’s core platform features. The engineer will write clean, efficient, and testable code, conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize system performance and reliability.

Responsibilities include collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions, contributing to architectural decisions, and ensuring adherence to best practices in security and software quality.



The role also supports continuous integration and deployment pipelines, documentation, and mentoring of junior engineers within the team.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience in Software Development and Programming, with proficiency in at least one modern backend language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Node.js, or similar).
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and server-side frameworks.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and patterns, and their application in large-scale systems.
- Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage.
- Ability to analyze requirements, propose technical solutions, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring or guiding other engineers and contributing to technical documentation.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
