Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and scientifically driven Scientific Officer to support product data management, catalogue development, and scientific information management. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of Chemistry and be capable of accurately interpreting, validating, and maintaining scientific information across internal systems and customer-facing platforms. The role requires close collaboration with Inventory, Marketing, QA,

Purchase, and Digital teams to ensure accurate product information and seamless business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Scientific Product Management

Investigate daily product-related queries and provide accurate scientific information to the Inventory team.





Create new catalogue numbers or identify existing catalogue numbers for newly developed or requested products.

Ensure scientific accuracy of product details before catalogue creation and release.

Maintain complete and updated scientific documentation for all products.

Catalogue &

- Website Management

Create and update new catalogue numbers on the company website and internal systems on a daily basis.

Ensure all product information is complete and accurate, including:

Product Name &

- Image, Category, Catalogue Number, CAS Number,

Molecular Weight, Synonyms, Chemical Name &
- Formula and Stock

Status

Update scientific structures, watermarked images, and product specifications for existing catalogue products.

Regularly review website content to ensure scientific accuracy and consistency.

Scientific Data Verification

Review, update, and validate scientific information for products released by the Quality Assurance department.

Verify chemical structures, molecular data, nomenclature, and product specifications.

Ensure consistency between laboratory documentation, ERP records, and website information.

Inventory &

- Product Database Management

Ensure stock availability and product status are accurately reflected across all systems.





Coordinate with Inventory and Operations teams to maintain real-time product information.

Cross-Functional Support

Provide scientific and technical support to the Marketing and Purchase teams regarding product information.

Support preparation of product descriptions, brochures, catalogues, and technical content.

Provide scientifically accurate content for social media, product launches,

and promotional materials.

Coordinate with R&D;, QA, Inventory, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless product information management.

Qualification

M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry (Preferred)

Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry

M.Tech. in Medicinal Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry

M.S. in Medicinal Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry

Equivalent qualification with relevant pharmaceutical industry experience will also be considered.
