Educational Qualification

- MD/DNB in Radiation Oncology / Radiotherapy from a recognised institution.
- Appropriate medical registration as per applicable regulations.

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiation Oncologist to join our Radiation Oncology team. The candidate will be responsible for evaluating cancer patients, developing appropriate radiation treatment plans, administering radiation therapy, and monitoring patients throughout their treatment journey.

The role involves working closely with Medical Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists, Radiologists, Medical Physicists, Radiation Therapists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, patient-centred cancer care.

Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate and diagnose patients requiring radiation therapy.
- Review clinical history, imaging, pathology and other diagnostic reports.




- Develop and prescribe appropriate radiation treatment plans based on the patient's condition.
- Perform patient consultation, treatment planning and follow-up.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumour board discussions.
- Supervise and monitor patients during radiation treatment.
- Manage treatment-related side effects and complications.
- Perform or supervise brachytherapy procedures, where applicable.
- Ensure appropriate use of radiation therapy techniques such as 3D-CRT, IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, SBRT/SRS, as applicable.
- Work closely with Medical Physicists and Radiation Therapists to ensure accurate and safe treatment delivery.
