Job Title: Senior QA Engineer (Automation)

Role Objective

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the reliability, security, and accuracy of our Access Control and Time Attendance systems. You will be responsible for end-to-end testing, from software-level functional validation to the physical integration of Access control Devices.

Key Requirements

Technical Skills

- Strong experience in Automation Testing for embedded devices, web applications, and mobile applications.
- Hands-on expertise with Selenium, Appium, Python/Java-based automation frameworks, or similar tools.
- Experience in testing CCTV systems, Access Control devices, or VMS solutions is highly desirable.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, automation using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, networking concepts, and device-level debugging.
- Experience in designing scalable automation frameworks (hybrid, data-driven, keyword-driven, BDD etc.).
- Mandatory exposure to CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools such as:
- Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
- Integrating automated test suites into CI/CD




- Triggering automation as part of nightly or release builds
- Test reporting through Allure, Extent Reports, or custom dashboards.
- Experience with Docker, containerized test execution, or virtual environments is a plus.

Process & Quality Skills

- Must be familiar with industry-level CI/CD implementation, best practices, and real-world pipeline setups.
- Good understanding of:

i. Version control (Git branching strategies) ii. Code review processes iii. Build & deployment lifecycle iv. Automated regression pipelines
- Ability to define QA strategy, test planning, and coverage for products under test.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Soft Skills

- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Ability to mentor junior team members in automation.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Ownership mindset with the ability to independently drive automation improvements.

Preferred Experience

- 2 - 4+ years in Test Automation, with at least 2 years in a senior/lead role.
- Prior experience in security domain products, video surveillance, IoT/embedded systems, or access control systems.
